Al Baraka, QNB-Egypt, and HD Bank Fastest-Growing Listed Banks in Syndicated Loans During H1 2025

Al Baraka topped the list of the fastest-growing banks listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange in terms of growth in syndicated loans during the first half (H1) of 2025, with a growth rate of 32.2%.
QNB-Egypt secured second place with a 28.1% increase, followed by HD Bank in third place with 22.6%. ADIB-Egypt and saib completed the top five with growth rates of 9.2% and 3.8%, respectively.
According to First Bank’s ranking of the fastest-growing listed banks by syndicated loans in H1 2025, Al Baraka led the list after its syndicated loans grew by 32.2% during the period, reaching EGP 9.75 billion by the end of June 2025, compared to EGP 7.38 billion at the end of 2024.
The ranking, which included all 11 banks listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange, showed that all banks achieved positive growth in syndicated loans, except two banks that recorded notable declines during the first half of 2025.
QNB-Egypt claimed second place with a growth rate of 28.1% in H1 2025, as its syndicated loans increased to EGP 44.55 billion by end-June, up from EGP 34.78 billion at end-2024.
Housing and Development Bank ranked third after its syndicated loans rose by 22.6% in H1 2025, reaching EGP 5.24 billion by end-June, compared to EGP 4.27 billion at end-2024.
ADIB-Egypt came fourth with a 9.2% increase, as syndicated loans rose to EGP 1.6 billion by end-June 2025, from EGP 1.46 billion at end-2024.
In fifth place, saib Bank recorded a 3.8% rise in syndicated loans, reaching EGP 21.83 billion by end-June 2025, compared to EGP 21.03 billion at end-2024.
