EGBANK, SC Bank, and ADIB-Egypt Fastest-Growing Listed Banks in Personal Loans During H1 2025

EGBANK topped the list of the fastest-growing banks listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange in terms of growth in personal loans during the first half (H1) of 2025, with a growth rate of 49.6%.
SC Bank secured second place with a 36.7% increase, followed by ADIB-Egypt in third place with 30.8%. saib and Al Baraka completed the top five with growth rates of 25.6% and 17.8%, respectively.
According to First Bank’s ranking of the fastest-growing listed banks by personal loans in H1 2025, EGBANK led the list after its personal loans grew by 49.6% during the period, reaching EGP 19.51 billion by the end of June 2025, compared to EGP 13.04 billion at the end of 2024.
The ranking, which included all 11 banks listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange, showed that all banks achieved positive growth in personal loans.
Suez Canal Bank claimed second place with a growth rate of 36.7% in H1 2025, as its personal loans increased to EGP 7.27 billion by end-June, up from EGP 5.32 billion at end-2024.
ADIB-Egypt ranked third after its personal loans rose by 30.8% in H1 2025, reaching EGP 33.71 billion at end-June, compared to EGP 25.77 billion at end-2024.
saib came fourth with a 25.6% increase, as personal loans rose to EGP 21.07 billion at end-June 2025, from EGP 16.77 billion at end-2024.
In fifth place, Al Baraka recorded a 17.8% rise in personal loans, reaching EGP 14.35 billion at end-June 2025, compared to EGP 12.18 billion at end-2024.
