HD Bank, SC Bank, and ADIB-Egypt Fastest-Growing Listed Banks in Financial Investments During H1 2025

HD Bank topped the list of the fastest-growing banks listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange in terms of growth in financial investments during the first half (H1) of 2025, with a growth rate of 85.1%.
SC Bank secured second place with a 51.8% increase, followed by ADIB-Egypt in third place with 28.7%. CIB and United Bank completed the top five with growth rates of 18% and 16.3%, respectively.
According to First Bank’s ranking of the fastest-growing listed banks by financial investments in H1 2025, Housing and Development Bank led the list after its financial investments grew by 85.1% during the period, reaching EGP 95.49 billion by the end of June 2025, compared to EGP 51.58 billion at the end of 2024.
The ranking, which included all banks listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange, showed that all banks achieved positive growth in financial investments, except three banks that recorded notable declines during the first half of 2025.
Suez Canal Bank claimed second place with a growth rate of 51.8% in H1 2025, as its financial investments increased to EGP 46.93 billion by end-June, up from EGP 30.92 billion at end-2024.
ADIB-Egypt ranked third after its financial investments rose by 28.7% in H1 2025, reaching EGP 54.03 billion at end-June, compared to EGP 41.97 billion at end-2024.
CIB came fourth with a 18 % increase, as financial investments rose to EGP 472.51 billion at end-June 2025, from EGP 400.31 billion at end-2024.
In fifth place, the United Bank recorded a 16.3% rise in financial investments, reaching EGP 28.77 billion at end-June 2025, compared to EGP 24.74 billion at end-2024.
