EBank, QNB– Egypt, and Credit Agricole Top Listed Banks in Loans-to-Deposits Ratio (LDR) by the End of June 2025

First Bank List of The Best Banks in Loans to Deposits Ratio (LDR) by the End of June 2025 revealed that Export Development Bank of Egypt – EBank topped the list, with an LDR of 57.96%, as its total customer loans portfolio reached EGP 79.81 Bn, while its total deposits portfolio recorded EGP 137.69 Bn by the end of June 2025.
The list, which featured 12 banks listed on the Egyptian Exchange, showed that 11 banks achieved good LDRs ranging between 40.07% and 57.96% by the end of June 2025. However, Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt recorded the lowest LDR among the listed banks during the same period.
Returning to the list, QNB– Egypt came in second place with an LDR of 57.79%, after its customer loans portfolio recorded EGP 405.54 Bn, while its deposits portfolio stood at EGP 701.71 Bn by the end of June 2025.
Credit Agricole Egypt ranked third with an LDR of 56.96%, as its total loans portfolio increased to EGP 59.17 Bn, while its total deposits portfolio reached EGP 103.89 Bn by the end of June 2025.
Al Baraka Bank – Egypt came in fourth place with an LDR of 56.70%, after its customer financing portfolio reached EGP 65.08 Bn, while its total deposits portfolio recorded EGP 114.78 Bn by the end of June 2025.
In fifth place, saib Bank recorded an LDR of 56.48%, with a total loans portfolio of EGP 78.61 Bn, while its deposits portfolio stood at EGP 139.20 Bn by the end of June 2025.
It should be noted that all numbers and LDR rates mentioned above are based on the separate financial statements announced by each bank by the end of June 2025.
