ADCB, Bank NXT and ADIB-Egypt Fastest-Growing Banks in Corporates financing During H1-2025

ADCB tops the list of the fastest-growing banks in corporate lending with a growth rate of 25.5%, while Bank NXT secured second place with 25.3%.

ADIB-Egypt ranked third with a growth rate of 23.3%, followed by CIB and Suez Canal Bank in fourth and fifth places with 23.1% and 20.5%, respectively, during the first half of 2025.

saib, United Bank, and Emirates NBD were also among the top 10 fastest-growing banks in corporate lending, with growth rates of 17.7%, 14.1%, and 12.6%, respectively.

First Bank’s list of the fastest-growing banks in corporates financing during the first half of 2025 revealed that Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank «ADCB» topped the ranking with a growth rate of 25.5%, Its Corporates financing portfolio rose to EGP 54.91 billion by the end of June 2025, compared to EGP 43.77 billion at the end of 2024.

The list monitored the corporates financing of 25 banks operating in the Egyptian banking sector, based on available financial data. Results showed that all banks recorded positive growth in corporates financing during the first half of 2025.

Bank NXT came in second place, as its corporates financing increased by 25.3% to reach EGP 27.80 billion by the end of June 2025, compared to EGP 22.19 billion at the end of 2024.

Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank – Egypt «ADIB-Egypt» secured third place, recording a 23.3% jump to EGP 92.58 billion, up from EGP 75.08 billion at the end of 2024.

Commercial International Bank «CIB» ranked fourth with 23.1% growth, as corporates financing rose to EGP 381.90 billion by June 2025, compared to EGP 310.20 billion at the end of 2024.

Suez Canal Bank followed in fifth place with a 20.5% increase, bringing its corporates financing to EGP 88.79 billion, compared to EGP 73.67 billion at the end of 2024.

Arab International Banking Company Bank «saib» came sixth, with corporates financing up 17.7% to EGP 54.34 billion, versus EGP 46.15 billion in December 2024.

the United Bank took seventh place, recording 14.1% growth to EGP 26.11 billion, compared to EGP 22.88 billion previously.

Emirates NBD-Egypt followed in eighth place, as corporates financing rose by 12.6% to EGP 75.62 billion by June 2025, against EGP 67.16 billion at the end of 2024.

In ninth place, Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait-Egypt «ABK-Egypt» recorded 11.8% growth, with corporates financing climbing to EGP 51.64 billion from EGP 46.19 billion.

Finally, First Abu Dhabi Bank-Egypt «FABMISR» ranked tenth, as corporates financing grew 11.2% to EGP 142.40 billion by June 2025, compared to EGP 128.10 billion at the end of 2024.
