Bank NXT, ADIB-Egypt and EGBANK Top Fastest-Growing Banks in Financing During H1-2025

First Bank’s list of the fastest-growing banks in financing during the first half of 2025 revealed that Bank NXT topped the ranking with a growth rate of 26.1%. Its financing portfolio rose to EGP 41.01 billion by the end of June 2025, compared to EGP 32.51 billion at the end of 2024.
The list monitored the financing portfolios of 25 banks operating in the Egyptian banking sector, based on available financial data. It showed that all banks recorded positive growth in financing during the first half of 2025.
Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank – Egypt «ADIB-Egypt» came in second place, as its financing portfolio increased by 24.8% to reach EGP 128.21 billion by the end of June 2025, compared to EGP 102.74 billion at the end of 2024.
EGBANK secured third place, recording a 22.8% jump in financing to EGP 58.98 billion, up from EGP 48.03 billion at the end of 2024.
Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank – Egypt «ADCB» ranked fourth with 22.6% growth, as financing rose to EGP 67.39 billion by June 2025, compared to EGP 54.96 billion at the end of 2024.
Suez Canal Bank followed in fifth place with a 21.6% increase, bringing its financing portfolio to EGP 96.25 billion, compared to EGP 79.14 billion at the end of 2024.
Commercial International Bank «CIB» came sixth, with financing up 19.8% to EGP 466.81 billion, versus EGP 389.57 billion in December 2024.
Arab International Banking Company «saib» took seventh place, recording 19.2% growth to EGP 78.61 billion, compared to EGP 65.93 billion previously.
Emirates NBD Bank – Egypt followed in eighth place, as financing rose by 15.2% to EGP 96.88 billion by June 2025, against EGP 84.06 billion at the end of 2024.
In ninth place, Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait – Egypt «ABK-Egypt» recorded 13.4% growth, with financing climbing to EGP 78.36 billion from EGP 69.09 billion.
Finally, First Abu Dhabi Bank – Egypt «FABMISR» ranked tenth, as financing grew 11.9% to EGP 166.61 billion by June 2025, compared to EGP 148.90 billion at the end of 2024.
