ODIN, Prime, and Beltone Top Investment Banks Listed on EGX in Return on Shareholders’ equity During H1-2025

ODIN tops the list of investment banks in return on shareholders’ equity with 67.68%.
Prime secures second place with 20.08%, while CI Capital takes third with a ROAA of 18.60%.
First Bank’s ranking of the most efficient investment banks listed on the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) in terms of return on average equity (ROAE) during the first six months of 2025 placed ODIN Investments at the top of the list, with a ratio of 67.68%, after posting a net profit of EGP 116.09 million in H1 2025.
The ranking, which included six investment banks listed on EGX, showed that five of them achieved positive ROAE, reflecting their success in generating varying levels of net profit, while one bank recorded a negative ratio due to reporting losses in H1 2025.
ROAE measures the ability of investment banks to utilize shareholders’ equity to generate adequate levels of profit during the analysis period. A higher ratio indicates greater efficiency in leveraging equity to deliver strong profitability.
Prime Holding for Financial Investments ranked second with an ROAE of 20.08%, supported by net profit of EGP 38.55 million in H1 2025.
CI Capital Holding for Financial Investments came third, with an ROAE of 18.60%, after achieving net profit of EGP 699.29 million during the same period.
Beltone Holding secured fourth place, with an ROAE of 15.56%, backed by net profit of EGP 1.39 billion in H1 2025.
EFG Holding followed in fifth place, with an ROAE of 14.17%, after reporting net profit of EGP 2.86 billion during the first six months of 2025.
It is worth noting that all values used in calculating ROAE are based on the consolidated financial statements published by each investment bank as of June 2025.
