ODIN and Beltone Lead Listed Investment Banks in Growth of Current Assets During H1 2025

The First Bank ranking of investment banks listed on the Egyptian Exchange with the fastest growth in current assets during the first half of 2025 revealed that Odin Investments topped the list with a growth rate of 126.7%, as its current assets rose to EGP 159.70 million by the end of June 2025, compared to EGP 70.45 million at the end of 2024.

The list, which included six listed investment banks with sufficient data available for analysis, showed that five banks achieved positive growth in their current asset portfolios during H1 2025, while one bank recorded a noticeable decline.

Current assets represent the resources a bank can convert into cash within a short period not exceeding one year, including cash balances, deposits with other banks, and short-term investments. It is worth noting that an increase in current assets enhances a bank’s ability to meet immediate obligations and improves its liquidity and financial flexibility.

Returning to the ranking, Beltone Holding secured the second place with a growth rate of 102.6% during the first half of the year, as its current asset portfolio climbed to EGP 32.28 billion by the end of June 2025, up from EGP 15.93 billion at the end of 2024.

Prime Holding for Investments came in third, recording a 55.1% increase in current assets to reach EGP 1.08 billion by the end of June 2025, compared to EGP 696.74 million at the end of 2024.

Aspire Capital Holding for Financial Investments ranked fourth, with its current asset portfolio growing by 39.1% to EGP 2.82 billion by the end of June 2025, compared to EGP 2.03 billion at the end of 2024.

Meanwhile, CI Capital Holding for Financial Investments took fifth place, after its current assets increased by 11.1% during H1 2025, reaching EGP 18.76 billion by the end of June 2025, compared to EGP 16.88 billion at the end of 2024.

It should be noted that all figures and growth rates mentioned in the above analysis are based on the consolidated financial statements published by each investment bank as of June 2025.
