ADCB, Bank NXT, and ADIB-Egypt Lead Private Banks in Corporate Lending Growth During H1-2025
                    
ADCB Tops the List of Fastest-Growing Private Banks in Corporate Lending with a 25.5% Growth Rate; Bank NXT Secures Second Place with 25.3%
ADIB-Egypt ranks third with a 23.3% growth rate, while CIB and SC Bank claim the fourth and fifth spots with growth rates of 23.1% and 20.5%, respectively, during the first half of 2025.
Meanwhile, saib, Emirates NBD-Egypt, and ABK-Egypt were also among the top 10 fastest-growing private banks in corporate lending, with growth rates of 17.7%, 12.6%, and 11.8%, respectively.
First Bank’s index of the fastest-growing private banks in corporate lending (including small business financing) during H1-2025 revealed that Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank-Egypt (ADCB) topped the ranking with a 25.5% increase, as its total corporate loan portfolio rose to EGP 54.91 billion by the end of June 2025, compared to EGP 43.77 billion at the end of 2024.
The index, which covered 21 private banks operating in the Egyptian banking sector for which financial data was available, showed that all banks recorded positive growth in their corporate loan portfolios during the first half of 2025, according to their independently published financial statements.
Returning to the ranking, Bank NXT secured second place, as its corporate loans portfolio surged by 25.3% to EGP 27.80 billion by June 2025, compared to EGP 22.19 billion at the end of 2024.
Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank-Egypt «ADIB» ranked third, with corporate loans increasing by 23.3% to EGP 92.58 billion, up from EGP 75.08 billion at the end of 2024.
Commercial International Bank «CIB» came fourth, achieving 23.1% growth, as its corporate loan portfolio rose to EGP 381.90 billion by the end of June 2025, compared to EGP 310.20 billion at the end of 2024.
Suez Canal Bank «SC Bank» followed in fifth place with 20.5% growth, reaching EGP 88.79 billion by June 2025, versus EGP 73.67 billion in 2024.
saib Bank came sixth, with corporate lending up 17.7% to EGP 54.34 billion, followed by Emirates NBD-Egypt in seventh place with 12.6% growth to EGP 75.62 billion.
Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait-Egypt «ABK-Egypt» ranked eighth with a growth rate of 11.8%, as its corporate loans rose to EGP 51.64 billion, while FABMISR came ninth with 11.2%, reaching EGP 142.40 billion by June 2025.
Finally, Qatar National Bank-Egypt «QNB-Egypt» secured the tenth spot, with corporate loans up 10.7% to EGP 331.02 billion by the end of June 2025, compared to EGP 298.90 billion at the end of 2024.
