NBK-Egypt, ADCB and Bank NXT Fastest-Growing Banks in Mortgage loans During H1-2025

NBK-Egypt tops the list of the fastest-growing banks in mortgage loans with a growth rate of 44.4%, while ADCB secured second place with 33.4%.
Bank NXTranked third with a growth rate of 33.2%, followed by BDC and QNB-Egypt in fourth and fifth places with 24.6% and 19.5%, respectively, during the first half of 2025.
CIB, EGBANK, and Credit Agricole were also among the top 10 fastest-growing banks in mortgage loans, with growth rates of 18.3%, 15.7%, and 14.9%, respectively.
First Bank’s list of the fastest-growing banks in mortgage loans during the first half of 2025 revealed that National Bank of Kuwait-Egypt «NBK-Egypt» topped the ranking with a growth rate of 44.4%, Its mortgage loans rose to EGP 2.56 billion by the end of June 2025, compared to EGP 1.78 billion at the end of 2024.
The list monitored the mortgage loans of 19 banks operating in the Egyptian banking sector, based on available financial data. Results showed that 14 banks achieved positive growth in mortgage loans during the first half of 2025, while 5 banks achieved a decline.
Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank-Egypt «ADCB»came in second place, as its mortgage loans increased by 33.4% to reach EGP 296 million by the end of June 2025, compared to EGP 222 million at the end of 2024.
Bank NXT secured third place, recording growth of 33.2% to EGP 2.40 billion, up from EGP 1.80 billion at the end of 2024.
Banque de Caire «BDC» ranked fourth with 24.6% growth, as mortgage loans rose to EGP 10.67 billion by June 2025, compared to EGP 8.55 billion at the end of 2024.
Qatar National Bank-Egypt «QNB-Egypt» followed in fifth place with a 19.5% increase, bringing its mortgage loans to EGP 10.04 billion, compared to EGP 8.40 billion at the end of 2024.
Commercial International Bank «CIB» came sixth, with mortgage loans up 18.3% to EGP 6.83 billion, versus EGP 5.77 billion in December 2024.
EGBANK took seventh place, recording 15.7% growth to EGP 597 million, compared to EGP 516 million previously.
Credit Agricole Bank-Egypt followed in eighth place, as mortgage loans rose by 14.9% to EGP 1.70 billion by June 2025, against EGP 1.48 billion at the end of 2024.
In ninth place, saib recorded 8.7% growth, with mortgage loans climbing to EGP 1.79 billion from EGP 1.65 billion.
Finally, the United Bank ranked tenth, as mortgage loans grew 8% to EGP 3.25 billion by June 2025, compared to EGP 3.01 billion at the end of 2024.
It is worth noting that all values and growth rates mentioned above are based on the independent financial statements released by each bank at the end of June 2025.
