SC Bank, ADIB-Egypt, and saib are the Fastest-Growing Listed Banks in Deposits During the First 9 Months of 2025

The list compiled by First Bank of the fastest-growing banks listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange in customer deposits during the first 9 months of 2025 revealed that Suez Canal Bank «SC Bank» topped the list, as its deposit portfolio increased by about 32.6%, reaching EGP 179.69 billion by the end of September 2025, compared to EGP 135.47 billion at the end of 2024.
The list, which included all banks listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange (a total of 12 banks), showed that all of them achieved positive growth rates in their total customer deposits during the first 9 months of 2025.
Referring back to the list, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank-Egypt «ADIB-Egypt» claimed second place, as its customer deposits portfolio rose by about 31.7% during the first 9 months of the current year, reaching EGP 263.83 billion by the end of September 2025, compared to EGP 200.28 billion at the end of 2024.
Arab International Bank «saib» secured third place, with its customer deposits portfolio increasing by approximately 27.9% during the first 9 months of the current year, reaching EGP 150.21 billion by the end of September 2025, compared to EGP 117.45 billion at the end of 2024.
United Bank came in fourth with a growth rate of 15.6% during the first 9 months of the current year, after its customer deposits portfolio rose to EGP 72.40 billion by the end of September 2025, compared to EGP 62.62 billion at the end of 2024.
As for fifth place, it went to Housing & Development Bank «HD Bank», where its customer deposits portfolio jumped by about 13.3% during the first 9 months of the current year, reaching EGP 164.24 billion by the end of September 2025, compared to EGP 144.96 billion at the end of 2024.
It is noteworthy that all values and growth rates mentioned in the analysis above are according to the independent financial statements announced by each bank at the end of September 2025.
