EGP index increased against a basket of major currencies to 39.936 points at today's trading

The Egyptian Pound index rose slightly against major currencies at the end of trading on thursday 12 February 2026, where the value of the index fell to 39,936 points at the end of today's trading, compared to 39,898 points at the end of yesterday’s trading on wednesday.

The rise of the Pound index came as a result of its rose against the US dollar, the euro, the pound sterling, the UAE dirham, the Saudi riyal, while its rise against the Japanese yen, the Chinese yuan, at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the US dollar fell from EGP 46.9034 to EGP 46.8768 at the end of today's trading, and the average purchase price fell from EGP 46.8043 to EGP 46.7768 .

The average selling price of the euro fell from EGP 55.8292 to EGP 55.6990 at the end of today's trading, and the average purchase price fell from EGP 55.7018 to EGP 55.5755 .

The average selling price of the pound sterling fell from EGP 64.1780 to EGP 63.9774 at the end of today's trading, while the average purchase price fell from EGP 64.0236 to EGP 63.8269  by the close of trading.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal fell from EGP 12.5069 to EGP 12.4998 at the end of today’s trading, while the average purchase price fell from EGP 12.4798 to EGP 12.4725 .

the average selling price of the UAE dirham fell from EGP 12.7705 to EGP 12.7632 at the end of today’s trading, while the purchase price in Egypt fell from EGP 12.7418 to EGP 12.7343 .

While the average selling price of the Japanese yen rose from EGP 30.5401 to EGP 30.5525 and the average purchase price rose from EGP 30.4715 to EGP 30.4854 at the end of today’s trading.

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan rose from EGP 6.7882 to EGP 6.7927 at the end of today's trading, and the average purchase price rose from EGP 6.7726 to EGP 6.7781  .
