EGP index rose against a basket of major currencies to 36.106 points at today's trading

The Egyptian pound index witnessed increase against major currencies by the end of trading on Wednesday 15 April, stabilized to 36.106 points compared to 35.740 points at the close of previous Tuesday.
The rise of the pound index came as a result of its rose against the US dollar, the euro, the pound sterling, the Chinese yuan, the Japanese yen, the UAE dirham, and the Saudi riyal at the end of today's trading.
The average selling price of the US dollar decreased from EGP 52.56 to EGP 52.05 , while the average buying price fell from EGP 52.46 to EGP 51.95 by the close of trading.
The euro’s average selling price decreased from EGP 62 to EGP 61.33 , while the average buying price fell from EGP 61.88 to EGP 61.21 .
The British pound’s selling price decreased from EGP 71.36 to EGP 70.55 , while the average buying price fell from EGP 71.21 to EGP 70.40 .
The Chinese yuan’s average selling price decreased from EGP 7.71 to EGP 7.63 , while the average buying price fell from EGP 7.70 to EGP 7.62 .
The Japanese yen’s average selling price decreased from EGP 33.09 to EGP 32.72 , while the average buying price fell from EGP 33.03 to EGP 32.65.
The UAE dirham’s average selling price decreased from EGP 14.31 to EGP 14.17 , while the average buying price fell from EGP 14.28 to EGP 14.14 .
The Saudi riyal’s average selling price decreased from EGP 14 to EGP 13.87 , while the average buying price fell from EGP 13.98 to EGP 13.85 .
