Egypt’s banking sector performance on EGX at Thursday’s closing session
The banking sector ends EGX trading session on Thursday, 2 February with increase in the market cap by 3.07% or EGP 267.699 billion compared to EGP 259.726 billion at the end of Wednesday session
The market cap of the banking sector reached 27.08% of the total EGX market cap, which is considered the highest percentage among the sectors listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange
The turnover on banking sector shares amounted to EGP 254.151 million which represents 13.57% of the total trading volume today after 7.443 million shares were exchanged capturing 1.67% of the total trading volume today.
The indexes of the Egyptian Exchange ended Thursday’s trading session with increase and turnover amounted EGP344.6million on shares
