EGBank and EBank Lead Banking Stocks Gainers at the Close of Today's Trading Session

Trading data from today's session on the Egyptian Exchange showed mixed performance among listed banking stocks, with 6 stocks closing higher and 6 stocks ending the session lower.
Egyptian Gulf Bank topped the list of gainers after its share price climbed 2.98% to close at 0.484 USD, compared with 0.470 USD at the opening of the session.
Export Development Bank of Egypt ranked second among the top-performing banking stocks, rising 2.62% to close at 20.73 EGP, up from 20.20 EGP at the open. It was followed by Suez Canal Bank, whose share price gained 1.49% to close at 38.80 EGP, compared with 38.23 EGP at the beginning of trading.
The United Bank advanced 0.88% to close at 13.80 EGP, versus 13.68 EGP at the opening, while QNB Egypt rose 0.41% to close at 55.87 EGP, compared with 55.64 EGP at the start of the session.
Crédit Agricole Egypt also posted a modest gain of 0.08%, closing at 24.07 EGP, compared with 24.05 EGP at the opening.
On the downside, Commercial International Bank declined 0.42% to close at 140.90 EGP, compared with 141.50 EGP at the opening. It was followed by Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt (EGP-denominated shares), which fell 0.46% to close at 37.07 EGP, versus 37.24 EGP at the start of trading.
Al Baraka Bank Egypt declined 0.46% to close at 21.67 EGP, compared with 21.77 EGP at the opening of the session. Meanwhile, Housing & Development Bank slipped 0.56% to close at 83.82 EGP, down from 84.29 EGP at the open.
ADIB Egypt recorded the largest decline among the major banking stocks, falling 1.60% to close at 52.35 EGP , compared with 53.20 EGP at the opening of the session.
