CIB rises four places to lead EGX-listed banks in net fee and commission income growth

Commercial International Bank (CIB) topped First Bank’s ranking of the fastest-growing EGX-listed banks by net fee and commission income in H1 2026, rising from fifth place in the H1 2025 ranking.
CIB’s net fee and commission income rose 39.7 per cent to about EGP 5.76 billion in H1 2026 from EGP 4.12 billion in the same period of 2025.
Egyptian Gulf Bank (EGBANK) ranked second, with net fee and commission income increasing 14.4 per cent to EGP 795 million in H1 2026 from EGP 695 million a year earlier.
Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank – Egypt (ADIB Egypt) ranked third, recording growth of 11.1 per cent as net fee and commission income reached EGP 1.50 billion in the first six months of 2026, compared with EGP 1.35 billion in the same period of 2025.
The ranking, which covered 11 EGX-listed banks, showed that 10 recorded positive growth in net fee and commission income in H1 2026, while one bank posted a notable decline.
The data also showed that four banks remained among the five fastest-growing EGX-listed banks by net fee and commission income in both H1 2025 and H1 2026: CIB, ADIB Egypt, Housing and Development Bank (HDB) and Suez Canal Bank.
Combined net fee and commission income at EGX-listed banks rose 16 per cent to about EGP 15.84 billion in H1 2026 from EGP 13.66 billion in H1 2025.
CIB also remained the largest EGX-listed bank by net fee and commission income, recording EGP 5.76 billion in H1 2026, followed by QNB Egypt in second place with EGP 3.41 billion over the same period.
All figures and growth rates cited in the analysis are based on the standalone financial statements disclosed by each bank for the period ended June 2026.
