Arab International Bank (AIB) topped FirstBank’s ranking of the fastest-growing banks operating in Egypt by corporate deposits over the past three years, recording a three-year compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 72.07 per cent.

Its corporate deposits reached EGP 232.03 billion at end-2025, compared with EGP 45.54 billion at end-2022.

Suez Canal Bank ranked second, with its corporate deposits recording a three-year CAGR of 47.98 per cent to reach EGP 171.73 billion at end-2025, compared with EGP 52.99 billion at end-2022.

Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank – Egypt (ADIB Egypt) ranked third, recording a three-year CAGR of 43.75 per cent. Its corporate deposits reached EGP 143.52 billion at end-December 2025, compared with EGP 48.31 billion at end-2022.

Corporate deposits grew at all 26 banks operating in Egypt for which financial data were available, according to FirstBank’s ranking of the fastest-growing banks over the past three years.

Thirteen banks recorded growth in their corporate deposits above the banking sector’s three-year CAGR of 22.2 per cent, according to Central Bank of Egypt data, while the remaining 13 banks recorded growth below the sector average over the same period.

Foreign banks secured five of the top 10 spots for corporate deposit growth over the past three years, out of 12 foreign banks covered by the ranking. The five were ADIB Egypt, Attijariwafa Bank Egypt, Kuwait Finance House – Egypt (KFH-Egypt), National Bank of Kuwait – Egypt (NBK-Egypt) and Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait – Egypt (ABK-Egypt).

Islamic banks secured two spots among the top 10 fastest-growing banks in corporate deposits over the past three years. ADIB Egypt ranked third, while KFH-Egypt came in sixth.

At the sector level, corporate deposits grew at a three-year CAGR of 22.17 per cent, reaching EGP 6.34 trillion at end-2025 from EGP 3.47 trillion at end-2022.
