ODIN Investments topped First Bank’s ranking of the most efficient EGX-listed investment banks by return on average assets (ROAA) in the first half of 2026, recording a ratio of 25.92 per cent.

The ranking states that the company posted a net profit of EGP 462.1mn during the first six months of the year.

The ranking covered seven investment banks listed on the Egyptian Exchange (EGX). Six recorded positive ROAA during H1 2026, supported by varying levels of profitability, while one posted a negative ratio after reporting a loss over the same period.

ROAA measures an investment bank’s efficiency in using its asset base to generate net profit during the period under review. A higher ratio indicates greater efficiency in generating returns from assets.

Prime Holding for Financial Investments ranked second, with ROAA of 6.72 per cent, after recording net profit of EGP 43.73mn in H1 2026.

Aspire Capital Holding for Financial Investments came third, with ROAA of 4.47 per cent, after posting net profit of EGP 74.74mn during the first half of the year, according to the ranking.

CI Capital Holding for Financial Investments ranked fourth, with ROAA of 3.95 per cent, supported by net profit of EGP 838.35mn in H1 2026.

Beltone Holding placed fifth, recording ROAA of 1.66 per cent after posting net profit of EGP 780.38mn during the first half of 2026.

All figures used to calculate ROAA are based on the consolidated financial statements published by each investment bank at end-June 2026 and were annualised.
