First Bank list of the fastest banks in corporates deposits at the end of last September, revealed that the Arab Investment Bank topped the list with a growth rate of 119.34%, corporates deposits recorded EGP 32.9 billion by the end of September 2022, compared to EGP 14.9 billion at the end of September 2022. December 2021.
The list revealed that 20 of the banks under analysis achieved positive growth rates in their corporates deposits, while one bank recorded a decline rate in its corporates deposit portfolio.
Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank-Egypt took second place with of 76.69%, after its total portfolio reached 54.2 billion pounds at the end of September 2022, compared to 30.7 billion at the end of December 2021, followed by Attijariwafa bank with 49.53% during the first 9 months of 2022.
The Housing and Development Bank ranked fourth, after its portfolio increased by 47.40%, to record 59.6 billion pounds at the end of September 2022, compared to 40.5 billion at the end of December 2021.
Banque du Caire ranked fifth with 45.68%, after its total corporates deposit portfolio recorded EGP 111.2 billion at the end of September 2022, compared to EGP 76.3 billion at the end of December 2021, followed by QNB Al Ahli in sixth place, with 42.32% during the same period.
CIB came in seventh place with 41.55% during the first 9 months of last year, after its corporates deposits increased to 254.6 billion pounds at the end of September 2022, compared to 179.9 billion at the end of December 2021,
followed by Alex Bank with 34.55% during the same period
Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt ranked ninth with 33.71%, after its total portfolio recorded 3.93 billion pounds at the end of September 2022, compared to 2.94 billion at the end of December 2021, followed by Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Egypt, with 33.40% during the first 9 months of 2022.
