Egypt’s banking sector performance on EGX at Tuesday’s closing session
The banking sector ends EGX trading session on Tuesday 21 February with increase in the market cap by 0.91% or EGP 283.198 billion compared to EGP 280.641 billion at the end of Monday’s session
The market cap of the banking sector reached 28.06% of the total EGX market cap, which is considered the highest percentage among the sectors listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange
The turnover on banking sector shares amounted to EGP 326.296 million which represents 18.95% of the total trading volume today after 8.026 million shares were exchanged capturing 1.98% of the total trading volume
The indexes of the Egyptian Exchange ended Today’s trading session with increases and turnover amounted EGP 48.8 million on shares
