EGP index increases against a basket of major currencies to 54.516 points on Thursday
The Egyptian pound index increased against the major currencies during Thursday 23 February 2023. The index reached 54.515 points, compared to 54.407 points on last Wednesday’s trading.

It climbed against Japanese Yen pound sterling, and Euro, and settled against the UAE dirham US dollar Chinese Yuan, Saudi riyal
The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt Decreased from EGP 37.08 to EGP 36.90 at the end of today's trading , while the average buying decreased from EGP36.96 to EGP36.77
The average selling price of the euro in Egypt decreased from EGP 32.61 to EGP 32.52 and the average buying price fell from EGP 32.49 to EGP 32.41
The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt decreased from EGP 22.77to EGP22.71 while the buying price fell from EGP 22.69 to EGP 22.64
