EBank, ADIB Egypt and saibBank, Tops Listed Banks In Terms of LDR At 2022
Firstbank list of the best banks in loans To Deposits Ratio - LDR at the end of last year revealed that E Bank topped the list, at a rate of 61.52%, as total loans portfolio reached EGP 44.8 bn, while total deposits portfolio reached EGP 44.8 bn, its deposits portfolio reached EGP 72.9 bn by the end of December 2022.
Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank - Egypt occupied second place with LDR of 61.06%, after its c loans portfolio recorded EGP 59.7 bn at the end of December 2022, while total deposits portfolio recorded EGP97.7 bn at the end of the same period.
saibBank ranked third by LDR of 57.35%, after its total loans portfolio recorded EGP 41.7 bn, while total deposits portfolio reached EGP72.7 bn by the end of December 2022.
Credit Agricole Bank – Egypt came forth by LDR of 56.87%, as total loans portfolio of recorded EGP 34.4 bn at the end of December 2022, while total deposits portfolio reached EGP60.5 bn at the end of the same period
As for the fifth place, LDR of QNB Al Ahli reached 56.69%, its total loans portfolio EGP230.8 bn, while total deposits portfolio recorded about EGP 407.1 bn by the end of December 2022, followed by Suez Canal Bank with 48.84% by the end of the same period.
It should be noted that all numbers and LDR rates mentioned above, are according to separate financial statements announced for each bank by the end of last year 2022.
