saib, ADIB Egypt and SCBank, Are Fastest Growing Listed Banks In Net fees And Commissions Income At 2022
saib topped FirstBank list at a rate of 79.54%, recording net fees and commissions income of EGP 543 mn during 2022, compared to EGP 302.4 mn during the previous year.
The list, which included 10 banks listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange, revealed that 9 listed banks achieved positive growth rates in their net fees and commissions income during the period from January to December 2022, while one bank achieved a decline rate during the same period.
Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank - Egypt came in second place with 77% over the past year, recording net fees and commissions income of EGP1.016 bn in 2022, compared to EGP574 mn in 2021.
As for third place, Suez Canal Bank's net fees and commissions income jumped by 57% over the past year, to record EGP 296.3 mn in 2022, compared to EGP188.7 mn in 2021.
Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt came fourth, after its net fees and commissions income increased by 46.68% over the past year, to record EGP 321.6 mn in 2022, compared to EGP219.3 mn in 2021.
EBank came in fifth place, with 45.83% over the past year, recording net fees and commissions income of EGP 518.8 mn during 2022, compared to EGP355.8 mn during the previous year.
It should be noted that all values and growth rates mentioned above, are according to separate financial statements announced for each bank at the end of December 2022.
