EGP index declines against a basket of major currencies to 53.897 points on Tuesday

The Egyptian pound index Fell against the major currencies during Tuesday 7 March 2023. The index reached 53.897 points, compared to 54.083 points on yesterday’s trading.

The Egyptian pound index fell against 7 major currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.

It fell against Chinese Yuan, and Euro,Japanese Yen pound sterling, the UAE dirham US dollar, Saudi riyal.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt rose from EGP 36.98 to EGP 36.99 at the end of today's trading, while the average buying settled at EGP36.86

The average selling price of the euro in Egypt rose from EGP 32.78 to EGP 32.89, and the average buying price rose from EGP 32.67to EGP 32.78 at the end of today's trading

The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt increased from EGP 30.81 to EGP30.86 while the buying price Rose from EGP30.72 to EGP 30.76

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal in Egypt increased from EGP 8.21 to EGP 8.22 while the buying price rose from EGP8.18 to EGP8.19 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt rose from EGP 22.64 to EGP22.67 while the buying price rose from EGP 22.57 to EGP 22.59.

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt rose from EGP 4.44 to EGP4.45 while the buying price rose from EGP 4.42 to EGP 4.43

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt rose from EGP 8.39 to EGP8.40 while the buying price rose from EGP 8.36to EGP 8.37 at the end of today's trading.
