Hala Sadek is one of the most prominent female bankers who worked at Ahli United Bank. Only 2 years have passed since she assumed the leadership of the bank, she was able to achieve a significant development in the bank's figures and enhance its spread in the banking market.

In 2006, Hala Sadek moved to Ahli United Bank-Egypt, to write a new success story, as she joined many jobs in for more than 14 years, due to her strong performance and great ability to develop, she was chosen by Ahli United Bank Group in 2020, to be The bank's CEO, succeeding Nevin El Messery.

By analyzing the investment thinking of Hala Sadek with Ahli United-Egypt, we found that she greatly enhanced the use of the bank’s grant loans, to remain first in the investment orientation for the bank.

Loans are considered as the highest relative weight of the bank’s total assets currently, as their relative share reached 56.58% at the end of 2022, compared to 52.43% at the end of 2020.

AUB-Egypt’s financing for banks and customers increased, by increasing the bank’s net loans to customers and banks from EGP29.45 bn at the end of 2020, to EGP48.37 bn at the end of 2022, achieving a growth rate of 64.23%, and an increase of EGP18.92 bn.

The bank’s deposits portfolio jumped by 49.85%, reaching EGP69.8 bn at the end of 2022, compared to EGP46.58 bn at the end of 2020, an increase of EGP23.22 bn.

Due to the increase in the bank’s corporate  deposits portfolio to EGP43.06 bn by the end of 2022, compared to EGP37.63 bn by the end of 2020, achieving a growth rate of 14.41%, and an increase of EGP5.42 bn.

Individual deposits increased by 56.84%, reaching EGP14.03 bn by the end of 2022, compared to EGP8.95 bn by the end of 2020, an increase of EGP5.09 bn.
