Faisal Bank tops listed bank in focusing on financial investments by end of 2022
Faisal Islamic Bank tops First Bank list in focusing on financial investments and t-bills, as financial investments obtained the highest relative weight, 61.89% of the bank's total assets.
Total financial investments increased by 11.04%, to record EGP93.85 bn by the end of 2022, compared to EGP84.52 bn by the end of 2021, an increase of EGP9.33 bn.
Total assets of the bank increased by 15.77%, to reach EGP151.637 bn by the end of 2022, compared to EGP130.982 bn by the end of 2021, an increase of EGP20.65 bn
The bank’s net profit jumped by 66.80%, to record EGP4.48 bn in 2022, compared to EGP2.68 bn in 2021, an increase of EGP1.79 bn.
Savings pools portfolio and savings certificates jumped from EGP109.560 bn at the end of 2021 to EGP123.63 bn at the end of 2022, achieving a growth rate of 12.84%, and an increase of EGP14.07 bn.
Murabaha and Mudarabah increased by 5.20%, to record EGP14.55 bn at the end of 2022, compared to EGP13.83 bn at the end of 2021, an increase of EGP718.41 mn.
