HDBank tops listed banks in focusing on individual loans by end of 2022
HDBank topped FirstBank list, by 55.53%, recording total individual loans of EGP21.19 bn by the end of 2022, while total loan portfolio recorded EGP 38.16 bn during the same period.
Returning to the list, Egyptian Gulf Bank occupied the second place, by 30.02% as its total individual loans recorded EGP8.54 bn at the end of 2022, while total loan portfolio recorded EGP28.45 bn at the end of the same period.
Credit Agricole Bank – Egypt, its individual loans reached 28.77%, total loan portfolio recorded EGP34.40 bn, while its retail banking portfolio reached EGP9.9 bn by end of 2022.
saib ranked fourth with 26.20% of the bank’s individual loan portfolio, as its retail banking portfolio recorded EGP10.92 bn at the end of 2022, while its total loans portfolio recorded EGP41.67 bn at the end of the same period.
Commercial International Bank came in fifth place, after the bank’s retail banking department contributed 24.37% of bank’s total loan portfolio, EGP 218.63 bn at the end of 2022, while its individuals finance portfolio recorded EGP53.29 bn at the end of the same period.
It should be noted that all ratios and values mentioned above are according to separate financial statements announced for each bank by the end of 2022.
