EGP index decreased against a basket of major currencies to 52.596 points on Monday
The Egyptian pound index fell against the major currencies during Monday 8 May 2023. The index reached 52.596 points, compared to 52.647 points on yesterday’s trading.
The Egyptian pound index Fell against 2 Currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.
It fell against the Euro, pound sterling, it rose against the Japanese Yen and settled against the Chinese Yuan, UAE dirham, Saudi riyal, US dollar.
The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt rose from EGP 39.11 to EGP 39.18, while the average buying increased from EGP 38.98 t EGP 39.05 at the end of today's trading
The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt rose from EGP 34.09 to EGP 34.18, while the average buying increased from EGP 33.97 to EGP 34.06 at the end of today's trading
The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt settled at EGP 4.47 at the end of today's trading while the average buying fell from EGP4.46 to EGP 4.45.
The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt fell from EGP 22.94 to EGP 22.91 while the buying price decreased from EGP 22.86 to EGP 22.83.
The average selling price of the Saudi riyal in Egypt settled at EGP 8.24 and EGP 8.22 for buying at the end of today's trading
The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt settled at EGP 30.93 and EGP 30.83 for buying at the end of today's trading.
The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt settled at EGP 8.42 and EGP 8.39 for buying at the end of today's trading.
