EGP index decreased against a basket of major currencies to 52.690 points on Wednesday

The Egyptian pound index decreased against the major currencies during Wednesday 26 April 2023. The index reached 52.690 points, compared to 52.935 points on last Wednesday’s trading.

The Egyptian pound index fell against 3 Currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.

It fell against the pound sterling, Japanese Yen, Euro it rose against the Chinese Yuan and settled against the UAE dirham, Saudi riyal, US dollar.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt rose from EGP 38.37 to EGP 38.56, while the average buying increased from EGP 38.24 to EGP 38.43 at the end of today's trading

The average selling price of the Euro in Egyptincreased from EGP 33.81 to EGP 34.16 at the end of today's trading, while the average buying declined from EGP 33.70 to EGP 34.04

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt fell from EGP4.48 to EGP 4.46 at the end of today's trading while the average buying declined from EGP4.47 to EGP 4.45

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt rose from EGP 22.93 to EGP 23.13 while the buying price increased from EGP 22.86 to EGP 23.05.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal in Egypt settled at EGP 8.24 and EGP 8.22 for buying at the end of today's trading

The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt settled at EGP 30.93 and EGP 30.83 for buying at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt settled at EGP 8.42 and EGP 8.39 for buying at the end of today's trading.
