The Egyptian pound index increased against the major currencies during Monday 6 February 2023. The index reached 54.963 points, compared to 54.982 points on yesterday’s trading.

The Egyptian pound index decreased against 3 major currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound

It climbed against the Euro, the Japanese Yen  it fell againstUS dollar,Saudi riyal, while it remained stable against theChinese Yuan, and UAE Dirham

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt increased from EGP 36.54 to EGP 36.63 at the end of Monday trading, while the average buying rate rose from EGP 36.41 to EGP 36.50

The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt increased from EGP 30.31to EGP30.33 While the buying price increased from EGP 30.21 to EGP 30.23

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal in Egypt increased from EGP 8.07to EGP8.08 while the buying price settled at EGP 8.05at the end of today's trading

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt Decreased From EGP 32.72 to EGP32.70 while the buying price Fell from EGP 32.61 to EGP 32.59
