EGP index Increased against a basket of major currencies to 52.848 points on Thursday
The Egyptian pound index rose against the major currencies during Thursday 11 May 2023. The index reached 52.848 points, compared to 52.835 points on yesterday’s trading.
The Egyptian pound index rose against 2 Currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.
It rose against the Euro, Chinese Yuan, it fell against the Japanese Yen, and settled against the, UAE dirham, Saudi riyal, pound sterling ,US dollar.
The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt decreased from EGP 33.87 to EGP 33.82, while the average buying decreased from EGP 33.75 to EGP 33.70 at the end of today's trading
The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt Settled at EGP 39.00, while the average buying Settled at EGP 38.86 at the end of today's trading
The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt fell from EGP 4.46 to EGP 4.45 while the average buying fell from EGP 4.45 to EGP 4.44 at the end of today's trading
The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt rose from EGP 22.87 to EGP 23.04 while the buying price increased from EGP 22.80 to EGP 22.97.
The average selling price of the Saudi riyal in Egypt settled at EGP 8.24 and EGP 8.22 for buying at the end of today's trading
The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt settled at EGP 30.93 and EGP 30.83 for buying at the end of today's trading.
The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt settled at EGP 8.42 and EGP 8.39 for buying at the end of today's trading.
