The Egyptian pound index rose against the major currencies during Sunday 14 May 2023. The index reached 53.178 points, compared to 52.848 points on last Thursday's trading.
The Egyptian pound index rose against 4 Currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.
It rose against the Euro, pound sterling, Chinese Yuan, Japanese Yen, and settled against the UAE dirham, Saudi riyal, US dollar.
The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt decreased from EGP 33.82 to EGP 33.57, while the average buying fell from EGP 33.70 to EGP 33.45 at the end of today's trading
The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt fell from EGP 39.00 to EGP 38.54, while the average buying declined from EGP 38.86 to EGP 38.41 at the end of today's trading
The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt fell from EGP 4.45 to EGP 4.44 while the average buying fell from EGP 4.44 to EGP 4.43 at the end of today's trading
The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt fell from EGP 23.04 to EGP 22.79 while the buying price decreased from EGP 22.97 to EGP 22.71.
The average selling price of the Saudi riyal in Egypt settled at EGP 8.24 and EGP 8.22 for buying at the end of today's trading
