EGP index increases against a basket of major currencies to 54.471 points on Sunday

The Egyptian pound index increased against the major currencies during Sunday 19 February 2023. The index reached 54.471 points, compared to 54.401 points on last Thursday’s trading.

The Egyptian pound index increased against 5 major currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound

It climbed against Japanese Yen Chinese Yuan, and Euro, pound sterling ,Saudi riyal , and settled against the UAE dirham US dollar

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt  Decreased from EGP 36.89 to EGP 36.84 at the end of today's trading , while the average buying decreased from EGP36.76 to EGP36.71

The average selling price of the euro in Egypt decreased from EGP 32.77 to EGP 32.73, and the average buying price fell from EGP 32.65 to EGP 32.62

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt decreased from EGP 22.87to EGP22.81 while the buying price fell from EGP 22.79 to EGP 22.73

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt decreased from EGP 4.46 to EGP4.45 while the buying price fell from EGP 4.45 to EGP4.44at The end of today's trading

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal in Egypt decreased from EGP 8.16 to EGP8.15 while the buying price settled at EGP8.13 at the end of today's trading

The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt settled at EGP 30.60 while the buying price settled at EGP 30.50

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt settled at EGP 8.33 while the buying price settled at EGP 8.30 at the end of today's trading
