saib, ADIB Egypt, ADCB Egypt, QNB Al Ahli, and SC Bank, are fastest growing banks in net fees and commissions income
First Bank list of the fastest growing banks in net income from fees and commissions revealed that saib topped the list with a growth rate of 79.54%, after it recorded EGP542.9 mn in 2022, compared to EGP302.4 mn in 2021.
Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank - Egypt grabbed second place with a growth rate of 77%, after its net fees and commissions income increased to EGP1.016 bn in 2022, compared to EGP 574 mn in 2021.
Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank - Egypt ranked third, with a growth rate of 64.20%, after the bank recorded net fees and commissions income of EGP 479.4mn during 2022, compared to EGP 292mn in 2021.
Qatar National Bank Al Ahli came fourth, with a growth rate of 61.52% over the past year, after the bank’s net fees and commissions income reached EGP 2.505 bn in 2022, compared to EGP1.551 bn in 2021.
As for the fifth place, Suez Canal Bank came with a growth rate of 56.98%, to exceed its net fees and commissions income of EGP296 mn during 2022, compared to EGP188.7 mn during 2021, followed by Ahli United Bank at a rate of 55.10% during the same period.
National Bank of Kuwait – Egypt came seventh, after achieving a growth rate of 53.59%, as the bank’s net fees and commissions income increased from EGP428.7 mn in 2021, to EGP658.5 mn in 2022.
E Bank came in eighth place, after its net fees and commissions income increased at a growth rate of 45.83%, to record EGP518.8 mn in 2022, compared to EGP355.8 mn in 2021, followed by Credit Agricole and Attijariwafa. At growth rates of 44.92% and 40.59%, respectively, during the same period.
It should be noted that all numbers and growth rates mentioned above analysis are according to separate financial statements announced for each bank at the end of December 2022.
