The Egyptian pound index decreased against the major currencies during Tuesday 30 May 2023. The index reached 53.744 points, compared to 53.815 points on yesterday's trading.
The Egyptian pound index decreased against 3 Currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.
It fell against the Euro, Japanese Yen, pound sterling, it rose against Chinese Yuan, Saudi riyal and settled against the UAE dirham, US dollar.
The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt increased from EGP 33.16 to EGP 33.20, while the average buying rose from EGP 33.05 to EGP33.09 at the end of today's trading
The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt increased from EGP 38.22 to EGP 38.42, while the average buying rose from EGP 38.09 to EGP 38.29 at the end of today's trading
The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt fell from EGP 4.37 to EGP 4.36 while the buying price settled at EGP4.35.
The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt rose from EGP 22.06 to EGP 22.10 while the buying price increased from EGP 21.99 to EGP 22.03.
The average selling price of the Saudi riyal in Egypt fell from EGP 8.25 to EGP 8.24,while the buying price settled at EGP 8.22 at the end of today's trading
The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt settled at EGP 30.93 and EGP 30.84 for buying at the end of today's trading.
The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt settled at EGP 8.42 and EGP 8.39 for buying at the end of today's trading.
