EGP index rose against a basket of major currencies to 53.367 points on Tuesday
The Egyptian pound index increased against the major currencies during Tuesday 20 June 2023, The index reached 53.367 points, compared to 53.337 points on Yesterday's trading.
The Egyptian pound index increased against 2 Currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.
It rose against the pound sterling, Chinese Yuan, it fell against Euro, Japanese Yen and settled against the UAE dirham, US dollar, Saudi riyal.
The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt increased from EGP33.79 to EGP 33.81, while the average buying increased from EGP33.67 to EGP 33.70 at the end of today's trading
The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt decreased from EGP39.63 to EGP 39.48, while the average buying fell from EGP39.49 to EGP 39.34 at the end of today's trading.
The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt fell from EGP4.32 to EGP 4.31, while the average buying fell from EGP 4.30 to EGP 4.29 at the end of today's trading
The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt rose from EGP 21.79 to EGP 21.87 while the buying price fell from EGP 21.72 to EGP 21.79.
The average selling price of the Saudi riyal in Egypt settled at EGP 8.24 while the buying price settled at EGP 8.22 at the end of today's trading
The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt settled at EGP 30.93 and EGP 30.84 for buying at the end of today's trading.
The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt settled at EGP 8.42 and EGP 8.39 for buying at the end of today's trading.
