EGP index rose against a basket of major currencies to 52.771 points on Tuesday
The Egyptian pound index Increased against the major currencies during Tuesday 18 April 2023. The index reached 52.771 points, compared to 52.625 points on last Thursday’s trading.
The Egyptian pound index rose against 3 Currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.
It rose against the pound sterling, Japanese Yen, Euro and settled against the UAE dirham, Saudi riyal, US dollar, Chinese Yuan.
The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt fell from EGP 38.69 to EGP 38.47, while the average buying decreased from EGP 38.56 to EGP 38.34 at the end of today's trading
The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt fell from EGP 34.08 to EGP 33.95 at the end of today's trading, while the average buying declined from EGP 33.96 to EGP 33.83
The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt settled at EGP4.49at the end of today's trading while the average buying settled at EGP4.48
The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt fell from EGP 23.22 to EGP 23.10 while the buying price fell from EGP 23.14 to EGP 23.02
The average selling price of the Saudi riyal in Egypt settled at EGP 8.24 and EGP 8.22 for buying at the end of today's trading
The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt settled at EGP 30.93 and EGP 30.83 for buying at the end of today's trading.
The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt settled at EGP 8.42 and EGP 8.39 for buying at the end of today's trading.
