EGP index declines against a basket of major currencies to 53.276 points on Tuesday

The Egyptian pound index Fell against the major currencies during Tuesday 14 March 2023. The index reached 53. 276 points, compared to 53.382 points on  Monday’s trading.

The Egyptian pound index fell against 2 major currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.

It fell against Euro, pound sterling it rose against Chinese Yuan Saudi riyal .and Japanese Yen. and settled against the UAE dirham US dollar.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt rose from EGP 37.37 to EGP 37.66 at the end of today's trading, while the average buying rose from EGP 37.24 to EGP37.52

The average selling price of the euro in Egypt rose from EGP 33.00 to EGP 33.18 and the average buying price rose from EGP 32.89 to EGP 33.07 at the end of today's trading

The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt settled at EGP 30.93 and EGP 30.83 for buying at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal in Egypt fell from EGP 8.24 to EGP 8.23 while the buying price settled at EGP 8.21 for buying at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt fell from EGP 23.28 to EGP 23.07 While the buying price fell from EGP23.20 to EGP 22.99.

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt fell from EGP 4.50 to EGP4.49 while the buying price settled at EGP 4.48 at the end of today's trading

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt settled at EGP 8.42 and EGP 8.39 for buying at the end of today's trading .
