The Egyptian pound index Increased 0.026 points against the major of currencies over the week where it rose to 53.589, compared to 53.63 points at the end of Monday 26 June 2023.
The Egyptian pound index increased against 2 major currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.
It rose against the Euro, Japanese Yen it fell against Pound Sterling, and settled against the UAE Dirham, US dollar, Saudi riyal Chinese yuan.
The average selling rate of the Euro in Egypt fell from EGP 33.77 to EGP 33.70 over the week's trading, while the average buying rate decreased from EGP 33.65 to EGP 33.59.
The average rate of the Pound Sterling in Egypt rose from EGP 39.33 to EGP 39.51 in today's dealings, while the average buying price increased from EGP 39.19 to EGP 39.38.
The average rate of the Japanese yen in Egypt decreased from EGP 21.60 to EGP 21.50, while the buying rate fell from EGP 22.53 to EGP 21.44.
The average rate of the Chinese Yuan in Egypt settled at EGP 4.27, while the buying rate settled at EGP 4.26.
The average selling rate of the Saudi riyal in Egypt settled at EGP 8.24 at the end of the day's trading, while buying price settled at EGP 8.22at the week's trading.
The average selling rate of the US dollar in Egypt settled at EGP30.93 while the average buying price increased from EGP 30.84 to EGP 30.84.
The average selling rate of the UAE dirham in Egypt settled at EGP 8.42, while buying price settled at EGP 8.39at the week's trading.
