The Egyptian pound index Increased 0.315 points against the major of currencies over the week where it rose to 53.563, compared to 53.248 points at last Thursday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index increased against 4 major currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.

It rose against the Euro, Pound Sterling, Chinese yuan, Japanese Yen and settled against the UAE Dirham, US dollar, Saudi riyal.

The average selling rate of the Euro in Egypt fell from EGP 34.05 to EGP 33.77 over the week's trading, while the average buying rate decreased from EGP 33.93 to EGP 33.65.

The average rate of the Pound Sterling in Egypt fell from EGP 39.47 to EGP 39.33 in today's dealings, while the average buying price decreased from EGP 39.35 to EGP 39.19.

The average rate of the Japanese yen in Egypt decreased from EGP 21.79 to EGP 21.60, while the buying rate fell from EGP 22.71 to EGP 21.53.

The average rate of the Chinese Yuan in Egypt Fell from EGP 4.31 to EGP 4.27, while the buying rate fell from EGP 4.29 to EGP 4.26.

The average selling rate of the Saudi riyal in Egypt   settled at EGP 8.24 at the end of the day's trading, while buying price settled at EGP 8.22at the week's trading.

The average selling rate of the US dollar in Egypt settled at EGP30.93 while the average buying price increased from EGP 30.84 to EGP 30.84.

The average selling rate of the UAE dirham in Egypt settled at EGP 8.42, while buying price settled at EGP 8.39at the week's trading.
