EGP index increased 0.06 points over a week recording on 52.731 on Wednesday

The Egyptian pound index increased 0.06 points against the major of currencies over the week where it rose to 52.731, compared to 52.671 points at last Thursday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index increased against 2 major currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.

It rose against the Euro, Japanese Yen ,it fell against the Pound Sterling ,Chinese yuan, and settled against the UAE Dirham, US dollar, Saudi riyal.

The average selling rate of the Euro in Egypt fell from EGP 34.16 to EGP 34.14 over the week's trading, while the average buying rate decreased from EGP 34.05 to EGP 34.02

The average rate of the Pound Sterling in Egypt rose from EGP 38.60 to EGP 38.70 in today's dealings, while the average buying price increased from EGP 38.47 to EGP 38.56

The average rate of the Japanese yen in Egypt decreased from EGP 23.18 to EGP 22.82 while the buying rate declined from EGP 23.11 to EGP 22.75

The average rate of the Chinese Yuan in Egypt rose from EGP 4.46 to EGP 4.47, while the buying rate rose from EGP 4.45 to EGP 4.46.

The average selling rate of the Saudi riyal in Egypt   settled at EGP 8.24 at the end of the day's trading, while buying price settled at EGP 8.22at the week's trading

The average selling rate of the US dollar in Egypt settled at EGP30.93 and EGP 30.83 for buying at the week's trading.

The average selling rate of the UAE dirham in Egypt settled at EGP 8.42, while buying price settled at EGP 8.39at the week's trading
