EGP index losses 0.219 points over a week recording on 54.297 on Thursday

The Egyptian pound index declined 0.219 points against the major of currencies over the week where it fell to 54.297, compared to 54.516 points a week earlier.

The Egyptian pound index declines against a basket of 5 major currencies that measures the performance of the pound. It fell against the Saudi Dollar, US dollar the Chinese yuan, the Euro and the UAE Dirham,It rose against Pound Sterling and the Japanese Yen.

The average selling rate of the US dollar in Egypt rose from EGP30.66 to EGP 30.75 in the week's trading, while the average Buying price rose from EGP 30.56 to EGP 30.65

The average selling rate of the Euro in Egypt rose from EGP 32.52 to EGP 32.67 over the week's trading, while the average buying rate rose from EGP 32.41 to EGP 32.55.

The average rate of the Saudi riyal in Egypt rose from EGP 8.17 to EGP8.19 while the buying price rose from EGP 8.14 to EGP 8.16.

The average selling rate of the UAE dirham in Egypt rose from EGP8.34 to 8.37 pounds at the end of the day's trading, while buying price increased from EGP 8.32 to EGP 8.34

The average rate of the Chinese Yuan in Egypt rose from EGP 4.44 pounds to EGP 4.45, while the buying rate Settled at EGP 44.43

The average rate of the Pound Sterling in Egypt Fell from EGP 36.90 to EGP 36.84 in today's dealings, while the average buying price fell from EGP 36.77 to EGP 36.71
