EGP index losses 0.0117 points over a week recording on 54.644 on Thursday

The Egyptian pound index declined 0.0117 points against the major currencies over the week where it fell to 54.644, compared to 54.656 points a week earlier.

The Egyptian pound index declines against a basket of seven major currencies that measures the performance of the pound

 It fell against the Saudi Riyal, the UAE Dirham US dollar it increased against the, Euro and, Pound Sterling and the Japanese Yen.settled against  Chinese yuan

The average selling rate of the US dollar in Egypt rose from EGP30.31to EGP 30.53 in the week's trading, while the average Buying price rose from EGP 30.21 to EGP 30.43

The average selling rate of the Euro in Egypt decreased from EGP 33.32 to EGP 32.87over the week's trading, while the average buying rate decreased from EGP 33.21 to EGP 32.76

The average rate of the Saudi riyal in Egypt rose from EGP 8.07 at the end of last Thursday trading to EGP 8.13 on Thursday, while the buying price rose from EGP 8.05 to EGP 8.11

The average selling rate of the UAE dirham in Egypt rose from 8.25 pounds to 8.31 pounds at the end of the day's trading, while buying price increased from 8.22 pounds to 8.28 pounds

The average rate of the Chinese Yuan in Egypt settled at EGP 4.50 for selling , while the buying rate settled at EGP 4.49

The average rate of the Pound Sterling in Egypt decreased from EGP 37.33 to EGP 37.09 in today's dealings, while the average buying price decreased from EGP 37.21 to EGP 36.97

The average rate of the Japanese yen in Egypt fell from EGP 23.62 pounds to EGP 23.33, while the buying rate fell from EGP 23.54 to EGP 23.25
