The Egyptian pound index declined 0.207 points against the major of currencies over the week where it fell to 52.759, compared to 52.966 points a week earlier.

The Egyptian pound index fell against 4 major currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.

It fell against the Chinese yuan, Japanese Yen, Euro, Pound Sterling, and settled against the UAE Dirham, US dollar, Saudi riyal.

The average selling rate of the Euro in Egypt rose from EGP 33.66 to EGP 33.76 over the week's trading, while the average buying rate rose from EGP 33.54 to EGP 33.64

The average rate of the Pound Sterling in Egypt rose from EGP 38.18 to EGP 38.61 in today's dealings, while the average buying price rose from EGP 38.04 to EGP 38.47

The average rate of the Japanese yen in Egypt rose from EGP 23.33 to EGP 23.52 while the buying rate rose from EGP 23.25 to EGP 23.45

The average rate of the Chinese Yuan in Egypt rose from EGP 4.49 to EGP 4.50, while the buying rate settled at EGP 4.48

The average selling rate of the Saudi riyal in Egyptsettled at EGP 8.24 at the end of the day's trading, while buying price rose from EGP 8.21 to EGP 8.22

The average selling rate of the US dollar in Egypt settled at EGP30.93 and EGP 30.83 for buying at the week's trading.

The average selling rate of the UAE dirham in Egypt settled at EGP 8.42 at the end of the day's trading, while buying price settled at EGP 8.39.
