EGP index rose 0.05 points over a week recording 52.66 on Thursday

The Egyptian pound index Increased 0.05 points against the major currencies over the week where it rose to 52.966 compared to 52.916 points a week earlier.

The Egyptian pound index rose against 2 major currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.

It rose against the Chinese yuan,Japanese Yen it fell against the Euro and Pound Sterling, Saudi riyal, and settled against the UAE Dirham, US dollar.

The average rate of the Chinese Yuan in Egypt fell from EGP 4.52 to EGP 4.49, while the buying rate fell from EGP 4.51 to EGP 4.48

The average selling rate of the US dollar in Egypt settled at EGP30.93 and EGP 30.83 for buying at the week's trading.

The average selling rate of the Euro in Egypt rose from EGP 33.65 to EGP 33.66 over the week's trading, while the average buying rate rose from EGP 33.53 to EGP 33.54.

The average selling rate of the Saudi riyal in Egypt rose from EGP 8.23 to EGP 8.24,while the buying price rose from EGP8.20 to EGP 8.21.

The average selling rate of the UAE dirham in Egypt settled at EGP 8.42 at the end of the day's trading, while buying price settled at EGP 8.39.

The average rate of the Pound Sterling in Egypt rose from EGP 38.03 to EGP 38.18 in today's dealings, while the average buying price rose from EGP 37.90 to EGP 38.04.

The average rate of the Japanese yen in Egypt fell from EGP 23.54 to EGP 23.33, while the buying rate fell from EGP 23.46 to EGP 23.25.
