EGP index Increased against a basket of major currencies to 53.311 points on Tuesday

The Egyptian pound index rose against the major currencies during Tuesday 1 August 2023, The index reached 53.315 points, compared to 53.115 points at yesterday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index Increased against 4 Currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.

It rose against the Japanese Yen, pound sterling, Euro, Chinese Yuan, and settled against the UAE dirham, US dollar, Saudi riyal.

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt decreased from EGP 34.13 to EGP 33.96 while the average buying Fell from EGP 34.01 to EGP 33.84 at the end of today's trading.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt decreased from EGP 39.81 to EGP 39.59 while the average buying Declined from EGP 39.68 to EGP 39.45 at the end of today's trading.  

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt fell from EGP 4.32 to EGP 4.31 while the average buying Declined from EGP 4.31 to EGP 4.30.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt decreased from EGP 21.76 to EGP 21.64 while the average buying fell from EGP 21.68 to EGP 21.57 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal in Egypt settled at EGP 8.24 while the buying price fell from EGP 8.22 to EGP 8.21 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt settled at EGP 30.93 and EGP 30.84 for buying at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt settled at EGP 8.42 and EGP 8.39 for buying at the end of today's trading.
