EGP index Increased against a basket of major currencies to 52.759 points on Tuesday
The Egyptian pound index rose against the major currencies during Tuesday 9 May 2023. The index reached 52.759 points, compared to 52.596 points on yesterday’s trading.
The Egyptian pound index rose against 3 Currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.
It rose against the Euro, pound sterling, Chinese Yuan, it fell against the Japanese Yen and settled against the, UAE dirham, Saudi riyal, US dollar.
The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt fell from EGP 39.18 to EGP 39.03, while the average buying increased from EGP 39.05 to EGP 38.89 at the end of today's trading
The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt decreased from EGP 34.18 to EGP 33.96, while the average buying decreased from EGP 34.06 to EGP 33.84 at the end of today's trading
The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt fell from EGP4.47 to EGP 4.46. while the average buying settled at EGP 4.45 at the end of today's trading
The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt rose from EGP 22.91 to EGP 22.95 while the buying price increased from EGP 22.83 to EGP 22.87.
The average selling price of the Saudi riyal in Egypt settled at EGP 8.24 and EGP 8.22 for buying at the end of today's trading
The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt settled at EGP 30.93 and EGP 30.83 for buying at the end of today's trading.
The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt settled at EGP 8.42 and EGP 8.39 for buying at the end of today's trading.
