EGP index fell against a basket of major currencies to 52.993 points on Tuesday
The Egyptian pound index fell against the major currencies during Tuesday 4 April 2023. The index reached 52.993 points, compared to 52.997 points on yesterday’s trading.
The Egyptian pound index decreased against one major Currency among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.
It fell against the pound sterling, and settled against the Euro Chinese Yuan, Japanese Yen ,UAE dirham, Saudi riyal, US dollar.
The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt rose from EGP 38.25 to EGP 38.26 at the end of today's trading, while the average buying settled at EGP38.13
The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt settled at EGP 33.61 while the buying price settled at EGP 33.49 at the end of today's trading.
The average selling price of the Saudi riyal in Egypt settled at EGP 8.24 and EGP 8.22 for buying at the end of today's trading.
The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt settled at EGP 4.49 and EGP 4.47 for buying at the end of today's trading
The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt settled at EGP 23.24 while the buying price rose from EGP 23.16 to EGP 23.17
The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt settled at EGP 30.93 and EGP 30.83 for buying at the end of today's trading.
The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt settled at EGP 8.42 and EGP 8.39 for buying at the end of today's trading.
