EGP index losses 0.139 points over a week recording 53.323 on Thursday

The Egyptian pound index Declined 0.139 points against the major of currencies over the week where it fell to 53.323, compared to 53.462 points at last Thursday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index decreased against 2 major currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.

It Fell against the Euro, Pound Sterling, it rose against Japanese Yen, Chinese yuan, and settled against the UAE Dirham, US dollar, Saudi riyal.

The average selling rate of the Euro in Egypt rose from EGP 33.85 to EGP 34.12 over the week's trading, while the average buying rate Increased from EGP 33.74 to EGP 34.00.

The average rate of the Pound Sterling in Egypt Increased from EGP 39.17 to EGP 39.52 over the week's trading while the average buying price Increased from EGP 39.04 to EGP 39.38.

The average rate of the Japanese yen in Egypt decreased from EGP 21.64 to EGP 21.54, while the buying rate fell from EGP 21.57 to EGP 21.45.

The average rate of the Chinese Yuan in Egypt declined from EGP 4.31 to EGP 4.29 while the buying ratedecreased from EGP 4.30 to EGP 4.27.

The average selling rate of the Saudi riyal in Egypt  settled at EGP 8.24 at the end of the day's trading, while buying price settled at EGP 8.22at the week's trading.

The average selling rate of the US dollar in Egypt settled at EGP30.93 while the average buying price settled at EGP 30.84.

The average selling rate of the UAE dirham in Egypt settled at EGP 8.42, while buying price settled at EGP 8.39over a week's trading.
