The Egyptian pound index Increased against the major currencies during Wednesday 23 August 2023, The index reached 53.967 points, compared to 53.783 points at yesterday's trading.
The Egyptian pound index Increased against 2 Currency among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.
It rose against the Euro, pound sterling, It Fell against the Japanese Yen and settled against, UAE dirham, US dollar, Chinese Yuan, Saudi riyal.
The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt decreased from EGP 33.67 to EGP 33.46 while the average buying fell from EGP 33.57 to EGP 33.34 at the end of today's trading.
The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt decreased from EGP 39.48 to EGP 39.10 while the average buying fell from EGP 39.34 to EGP 38.96 at the end of today's trading.
